Diet Plans For Teenage Girls
Do you like this story?
Diet - a word that almost always means starvation. At least that was how I thought of it before. I realized thought that it could actually result in hunger if you happen to follow a wrong diet plan. You see, diet simply mean proper food intake and for teenagers who are very active, the right amount of calories and nutrients should be the primary consideration. Here are some of the important factors that you should consider. As mentioned earlier, proper nutrition is important for a successful diet. Each food has their unique nutrients that your body needs so instead of not eating a certain class of food, it is better to understand what you should eat and why. The key however is taking in the correct amount per day.In the same way, I have found to lose weight faster by eating six times a day in small meals instead of eating three times in big meals. The same principle is very much applicable to your teenage girls. Make sure she doesn't skip breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. A full pack breakfast and a small size dinner have always worked wonders for me. And since most young women are fond of taking soda for snack and sugary stuffs, it should at all cost be avoided and should be replaced with water instead.Having fresh fruits before meal is also very good to start your metabolism right. With the all natural vitamins and minerals that fruits contain, you can be assured that your child has the needed supplements. The low sodium content in fruits also helps reduce the extra water weight gained.Exercise is still important to burn the fats away. But it doesn't have to be an intense workout. A 30 minute walk everyday is sufficient to get rid of some stubborn belly fats. And to make sure that your daughter is focused on the diet plan you are giving her, announce an incentive should she complete it and lose a certain weight. Let the incentive be something that she really wants and desires. Then give it to her every time she loses a certain weight that you have both agreed. Continue to give her additional incentives as she progresses in her diet plan. This way, your teenager will be motivated to continue with the program. So again, for a good diet plan for your teenage girl, proper nutrition is still important. Starving your child to lose weight is not correct but simply dividing her food intake to smaller meals and making it six times a day instead of 3 big meals. Eat some fruits before meal for the added vitamins and energy boost and lesser soda and sugar intakes for lesser fats to burn. And finally, give your child some incentives to keep her motivated to follow the program.
